Exceptionally high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA from fish oil and omega-6, GLA from borage oil . By regulating the production of eicosanoids, these fatty acids can affect the body's immune response and processes. Clinical studies have shown that exceptionally high levels of EPA, DHA and GlA can improve the condition of the skin and coat in dogs with atopic dermatitis.
- SPECIFIC™ COD Skin Function Support contains beta glucans and increased levels of zinc, selenium, arginine and omega-3 fatty acids , which are necessary for strengthening immunity. Beta glucans can bind to macrophages and activate the immune system, thereby enhancing the immune response and affecting the production of cytokines.
