  • To avoid food allergy symptoms, it is necessary to feed only hypoallergenic food and no other food products. If owners of dogs with food allergies would like to pamper or encourage their pet, it is recommended to use SPECIFIC™ CT-HY Hypoallergenic Treats. These treats use the same ingredients as SPECIFIC™ COD-HY Allergen Management Plus, so they will be tolerated without any doubt by dogs with food allergies fed this food.
  • In addition to its positive effects on allergic dermatoses, the exceptionally high content of omega-3 fatty acids is very beneficial for dogs with immune system diseases. Sometimes irritable bowel syndrome, colitis or arthritis can manifest as a food allergy, so SPECIFIC™ COD-HY Allergen Management Plus is perfect for dogs due to its low allergenicity and exceptionally high content of fatty acids.
  • Because excellent quality, highly digestible ingredients, low in fiber and increased electrolyte content This food is also extremely beneficial for patients with digestive tract problems related to acute intestinal malabsorption, poor digestion and/or pancreatic insufficiency.
  • For dogs with digestive tract problems, it is advisable to divide the daily dose into 3-5 portions.
  • Flaxseed husks - gel-forming soluble fibers that absorb several times their weight in liquid and are valuable for their effect on regulating the activity of the digestive tract .
  • Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency is defined as a severe reduction in the secretion of digestive enzymes from the pancreas. SPECIFIC™ COD-HY Allergen Management Plus is highly digestible, making it an ideal food for patients with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. However, it is recommended that pancreatic enzymes be given before feeding.
  • The replacement of fatty acids in the cell membrane with fatty acids (EPA, DHA and GLA) from SPECIFIC™ COD-HY Food Allergen Management will not occur immediately. For this reason, it may take up to 12 weeks for the full effect of this food to become apparent. Improvement in the patient's condition can usually be seen after 6-8 weeks.
  • SPECIFIC™ COD-HY Allergy Management Plus specifically Packed with nitrogen to preserve exceptionally high levels of EPA, DHA and GLA in the food.
