Description

A highly palatable liquid feed supplement designed to support renal function and reduce the symptoms of low blood potassium. The supplement is enriched with B vitamins, antioxidants and essential amino acids required in the daily diet. Oral potassium supplements are recommended to maintain adequate renal function in cases of hypokalemia, even in the absence of obvious clinical signs7.

Ingredients and additives

Each 2 ml contains:

Potassium gluconate 468 mg (2mEq)

Proprietary amino acid blend* 6.67 mg

Vitamin B3 (niacinamide) 5 mg

Spirulina 300 µg

Vitamin B1 (thiamine HCl) 1 mg

Vitamin B2 (riboflavin 5-phosphate) 1 mg

Vitamin B5 (calcium pantothenate) 5 mg

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCI) 1 mg

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) 2 µg

Elemental iron 70 µg

Composition: water, potassium sorbate, fructose, flavoring. *Lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, taurine, threonine, arginine, leucine, isoleucine, valine, glutamine, histidine, tryptophan, tyrosine.

Serum potassium concentration (mmol/l) KAMINOX® dosage:
< 3 2 ml per 4.5 kg three times a day
3 – 3.5 2 ml per 4.5 kg twice a day
3.5 – 4 0.5 – 1 ml per 4.5 kg twice a day
