Vitamin C (as sodium ascorbate) 500 mg
Sodium ascorbate is a mineral salt of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and a unique form of vitamin C, which is absorbed by the body by as much as 95%. It is a powerful antioxidant that can enhance the body's natural defenses. It is recommended for relieving oxidative stress and inflammation of nervous tissue, which increase the risk of dementia and other nervous system disorders. It has been shown to restore other antioxidants in the body, including alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E). Vitamin C is required for the biosynthesis of collagen, L-carnitine and certain neurotransmitters.
Ω – 3 fatty acids 300 mg
Essential fatty acids benefit every cell in the body, including nerve cells. They help transmit nerve impulses that guide daily actions.
Acetyl-L-carnitine 250 mg
While L-carnitine is popular for weight loss and fat burning, acetyl-L-carnitine improves brain function (brain health and memory), prevents muscle damage, regulates blood sugar levels, and increases endurance. It promotes rapid learning improvements and slows cognitive decline in older dogs.
Alpha lipoic acid 200 mg
Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) acts as a potent antioxidant and is a cofactor for mitochondrial alpha-keto acid dehydrogenases. It has beneficial effects on energy metabolism in the brain and skeletal muscle and in some models of diabetes.
Vitamin E 150 mg
A major contributor to neurological disorders is increased oxidative stress. As a powerful antioxidant, vitamin E scavenges free radicals, which are harmful byproducts of oxidation reactions.
Coenzyme Q10 25 mg
Coenzyme Q10 helps control the flow of oxygen to cells. It also acts as an antioxidant, reducing damage to cells caused by free radicals. Coenzyme Q10 supplements for dogs have been recommended for the treatment or prevention of various age-related cognitive impairments, weakened immune system functions, and kidney disease.
Biotin 20 mg
Biotin helps maintain healthy skin, hair, eyes, liver, and nervous system. Biotin activates key enzymes, helping the body produce more myelin.
Folic acid 5 mg
It is a direct precursor of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate, increases brain 5-MTHF levels. Improves brain myelination and reduces neurological symptoms.
Vitamin B12 500 mcg
Vitamin B12 is a nerve regenerator and significantly improves the symptoms of neuropathy.
